I have a teledoc appt coming up (does not need referral from in-person doc to get prescription in US and covered by pharmacies) and I'm trying to get a prescription. What exactly do I need to say and do in order to secure the prescription? does anyone know any help would be appreciated

You won't get prescription no matter what you say, they usually treat it as a last resort type of thing.
Spend a year trying useless shit, then perhaps they might say "muuuh, maybe amphetamine at an astronomically low dose might be worth trying".

bruh i actually need the meds im autustic, nonNT and prob have adhd. not doing it for fun my productivity stabilizes when i take it. I don't even get a dopamine rush or high from it. Thx for nothing

Yes. I showed signs of ADHD when I was younger but never suffered in school so parents didn’t wanna Medicate me.

Don’t listen to him. I’m taking vyvanse right now and it’s been quite helpful so far. I’m only taking 20 mg too (most adults are started at 30). My motivation and productivity have markedly improved, and I’m also losing weight/not engaging in binge eating anymore.

Just be honest. If you have the symptoms of ADHD, then tell them about that and how they affect you.

If your ADHD symptoms have lessened in severity since childhood, do not tell them that. I think that goes without saying though. lol
