The boomer cope that its fake is untrue but the cause is not as simple as oh you have an adhd gene or some shit. Its caused by poor airway development and thereby sleeping issues. ADHD traits basically mirror sleep deprivation perfectly. And its insanely correlated with apnea.

Wish I knew this instead of being put on ritalin as a kid. The truth is stimulants work well at covering up sleeping issues. This is why coffee is used so much but coffee cannot fix a day with no sleep it only allows you to push through the pain. It would be like treating a broken leg soley with pain killers and never allowing the bone to heal. The pain in your legs is not the root issue its your broken leg. What doctors and psychiatrists want to say is that your reaction to shitty environment is the issue not the environment itself

The medical field is one of the worst industries in the world. If the US is ever saved I hope the heads of these places are all put on a public trial

Guess I have adhd cuz I didn’t read
Over for you go take some meth and maybe you will be able to have a reading comprehension level of a 12 year old

I think it is overdiagnosed, but there's tons of genes linked to it

Genes do effect it also certain genes predispose people to being more effected by the environment.

But there are many cases of immigrant families where the children end up with tons of disorders that never existed in their family before America consumes 25% of the worlds prescribed drugs

A bad environment doesn't mean everyone is equally effected some people are more predisposed to get diabetes or obesity. But these disorders also did not exist until modern diets came about some people have adaptive genes to deal with the toxins although everyone to some extent will be effected. My grandma eats Mcdonalds and fast food and is still semi slim no diabetes meanwhile someone else would be obese and have a bunch of issues. But its still bad either way people who are the most effected have genes that predispose them to being more effected by these environmental disruptions

Do you get what I mean? Like yes genes effect it but the environment is the largest x factor. No one but the rich who could afford sugar got diabetes thousands of years ago nowadays its more then half of Americans this is a combination of enviroment and some people having genes that make them react worse to disruptions at the end of the day the environment is the cause its just a matter of extents effecting you
