Adhd meds doubt

I saw a reddit post of an adhd guy who said that even after eating meds , whenever he goes for driving he gets into situations that can be considered accident because he can't concentrate on the roads. He also said he doesn't have a job he rots in his home by playing video games

I thought adhd meds minimised ND behaviour. I had hoped eating meds will cure my problems .

Now I am scared.
