This really seems to be true in most cases. Somehow most people think they don’t have to inform themselves about how to raise a child optimally and all that shit because they think that they instinctively will know what’s right. But we know that’s bullshit.

So just a short reminder that your parents most likely invested more time informing themselves before buying their goldfish aquarium than before deciding to get you

Literally harder to adopt a dog than it is to give birth to a human child. There are no household accommodation checks, no background research on criminal records, no mental health or IQ requirements.
