If you read old books, they usually try to teach a lesson, like of a character becoming murderous due to envy and coming undone. Ancient Greek myths taught the same lessons. Same as Bible stories. Same as kids cartoons. But adult shows teach no lessons, it's just scandalous entertainment. And now adults have no morals.
