Advice for beginner with hair systems (Europe)

I've had 2 hair transplants done, I've been on fin/minox for a few years but it sadly isn't enough (still looks thin and horrid).
I'm giving up on chasing my fleeting natural hair and decided to bite the bullet and just get a system.

I'm located in Europe (East) and I don't really know where to begin.
Should I just order one online and try to apply it myself?
Should I find a salon to do it for me? (I couldn't find a single place in my tiny country that works with male hair systems.)
Are there any go-to brands or brands to avoid?

Basically, anything you wish you'd known before getting yours.
Any help appreciated.
