Advice for insane recession + dental work

I’m 16.5, my maxilla is subhumanly recessed (crooked nose, shit undereye support and my jawline is recessed). My teeth are super fucked and overcrowded (at the front they grow over each other) and my mandible is recessed as a result. Makes my face longer.

Basically, my braces are due in about 6 months but I don’t wanna wait that long cause of my growth opportunity closing etc. Ik its over but I want it to be the least over it could be
Do I get a palate expander asap even though I won’t have braces yet? Or do I wait? Surgery isn’t really an option
