To put it simply (speaking from my experience) I see soo many guys today irl and on social media who are constantly falling for the
Bulking/Mass = better meme and it always amuses me to see because in the back of my mind its as tho im witnessing my competition
gradually dwindle.

What especially inspired me to make this rant/thread is that I came across a video earlier this week from Rehab Room and Tails which talked
about this phenomena as well basically how more and more men are continuing to fall victim to the male gaze of looksmaxxing/Gym and
rather than trying to appear as youthful and I guess "prettyboy esque" as they can to women they are all becoming ogres instead.

The only really important Muscle groups you need imo to look Aesthetic and appear to the female gaze are

1. Shredded Lats dont even need a Gym Membership for this either basically just spam Wide Grip Pull Ups till failure

2. Huge Triceps For this you will probably see best results in the Gym with Close Grip Bench and things like Skull Crushers etc

3 Huge Delts/Shoulders The importance of this Muscle is too obvious to even elaborate on lol

4 Wide/Thick Neck By far the most underrated Looksmax for men to this day and even better most normies I know completely forsake it and
overlook the importance of how much appeal it adds to your Aesthetic

5 Abs Obvious

If you are a guy with all of these Muscle groups maximized and are at least average you will get attention from women because automatically
you stand out among all the other normies and try hard gymrats because your physique basically says "yes I workout but im not a meathead"

Women hate tryhards and guys who seem like they are doing too much.Your Aesthetics have to appear effortless

What too "bulky" means to women is your body fat is too high and you lack the v-taper
 
Basically calisthenics physique is ideal.

The back (pull up and it’s 1-arm progressions) and shoulder (pike and eventually handstand push up) exercises are really hard so you can grow these muscles to a very large size.

Meanwhile the chest and legs will lag but that’s actually what you want.

Just a quick TLDR for newcels

My entire point of this thread is to highlight to you that you do not need to be blasting PEDs into your system
and have a vicious pendulum swing back unto you later in life whereas just investing 3-4 Months into a proper
Calisthenic/HIIT Program can do wonders for your Aesthetic just requires discipline.

DO NOT FALL FOR THE ROID/BULK/MASS/GYMRAT MEME IT IS NOT WORTH IT

What’s the ideal bodyweight range then for 6’ 10% body fat with physiques similar to these?

Honestly man I am no expert by any means and more so made this thread based around what I learned works
best for me.

Lots of useful information out there you can research on your own and understand what is ideal for you.

Women don’t care about abs for the most part. That’s for men. It’s about shoulders, chests, backs and arms.

And it makes sense - it strikes the perfect balance between strength, athleticism and resource efficiency.

Though you could argue that in modern society, the heavier build is sometimes preferred, since we’re no longer out hunting or struggling for daily survival.
So, there are definitely women who are into that big, bulky type of physique

If by leaning down, you mean 20% and lower body fat. You don’t have to be 12%. In fact, I’d say 15% is the ideal. Right in the middle.

This lean obsession is for the men. As long as you’re in a healthy body fat range, it doesn’t matter and plenty of women prefer bulkier men. I wouldn’t even be surprised if it’s the majority. Also, unless you have garbage fat distribution, your face will look fine at the higher healthy ranges of bf.

Bear mode physique is intimidating asf tho. I'd completely fill my T shirts when I was 104 kgs. Even with thick winter clothes on I looked big and guys like those would have their jaws on the floor seeing me use their PR weights for my warm-ups. You also have to barely keep track of your diet. I'd understand why people like being on the perma bulk stage tbh. Very low effort and you gain strength every week.

The problem is Cavill looked quite skinny at this bf%. You can look up his candids in this suit. In general it is very hard to look big under 15% bf. As soon as you put clothes on you will look dyel. You actually need a ton of mass to look big when you are this shredded.

Perhaps but the point is looking too bulky, big is basically a non issue of 95% of natties. Most men don't even have the genetics to look like huge ogres without anabolics. You have to worry more about not looking like a twink like @SwissArms said.

He is, but I just used him as an example of a bulky guy. Honestly, lean men and bulked men have a lot of appeal to women. As a man, I’d prefer to be strong though. I can’t imagine holding up some skinny twink as the ideal.:feelsez:

I agree that they aren’t looking for powerlifters. When women say they like dad bods, they’re just thinking of fit men on a bulk. Not Homer Simpson.

There was a guy that posted his tinder results on this forum a while ago and he was bulked. People were surprised that he got as many matches as he did, but it has real appeal.

Im not sure... But i would say 77-85kg... This is something that only other ppl around your height can tell you, im 5'9 :lul:, so im not sure.

I understand this thread and know exactly what you mean in not getting a male gaze physique, and instead getting a lean and muscular physique, but the reality is the fastest way to achieving such physique if you aren’t over weight would be through bulking and cutting cycles. You are unfortunately going to have to bulk at least once to get any amount of solid muscle mass to allow you to cut and not look like a twink. I believe in getting to visible 6 pack before doing so, so you have more room to bulk without looking that bad, but unfortunately bulking would be a necessary evil, unless you are fat currently.

Being as big as possible is legit but ONLY if you have a lean face

Face leaness is all that matters. So your goal should be as big as possible but with a lean face

Some people are utterly fucked in that department and need to be 10% bf for a lean face. I lucked out insanely good and my face stays lean even at 18%

Especially in western Europe when you will never have to take off your shirt
