Refugees and single-moms have priority. They are housed before I am.
But once those people have affordable housing, it's distributed through a lottery system over here.
Every week, you can 'react' to new apartments, and then you get placed in a lottery with 5000+ people, hoping you get the number one spot so you can rent it (till the day you die).
And they say life isn't gambling. They say casinos are bad. They say gambling addictions are bad.
Yet the government distributes HOUSING, a BASIC HUMAN RIGHT, through fucking GAMBLING.
