They had absolutely no interest in fighting, they didn't support the Americans' ideology, they only wanted their money. All the equipment, weapons, ammo, fuel, etc. the Afghan soldiers received was quickly sold, they avoided fighting and kept asking for more money and resources. When the talibans came they abandoned everything and ran or joined them.
This was exposed more than a decade ago, there was even a documentary about this, but US kept pumping money and resources in Afghanistan.

It's not because of that, it's because the Afghan government inflated the number of the soldiers to take money from the united states. Plus, US gave them guns and weapons that were too technological for those sand niggers, that in the meanwhile were dying en mass but the government was hiding their deaths to not discourage future men into joining the army. You can't win wars when the countries and government are corrupted from inside.
