I always see so many people saying that there is a different "Western ideal" of beauty, and while I agree with it to a point, there's a difference between regional beauty standards and genuinely just coping because you're unattractive, for example, the streamer Dabo is a generally unfortunate case of just genuinely being unattractive. I've seen many people who just say, "He's not attractive! He just has African American features, that's all!", and that's fucking stupid because that's not true. Why do people think that? Are they genuinely stupid? Accept the difference between regional ideals and genuinely just being unattractive.

No not really,some are considered atractive some are not, most subsaharan africans have aide jaws and forward growth which is atractive while a short midface or wide nose isnt

European features might be generally a bit more prefered in western beauty standards but thats for obvious reasons

Features also differ a lot in between african groups so it can differ a lot depending on what type of african american,like what their ancestry is
