...all I've managed to achieve is give myself injuries.

Gains? A hardgainer doesn't make gains, brah.

Aesthetics? Need gains for aesthetics, so...

Strength? No one knows or cares how much you can lift, brah. It's literally irrelevant.

Think about it, we pay a gym so we can put in endless hours of mindless hard work in lifting heavy shit which ultimately just damages the body.

What must the normies think when they pass the gym at 11:30pm on a Saturday night after a night out?

For months I've been arguing against the endless "gym is cope" threads on this forum.

"Cope" isn't the word, brahs.

Did I mention I'm an oldcel? That's also an irrelevant number.

Still, I'm not a quitter. I don't quit. I know it's sick & demented, but still. Ascend 'til the end etc.

switch to calisthenics instead, really all you need for a great looking physique is calisthenics
mogs weight lifting for overall functional strength and aesthetic body

i do push/pull/legs/core full body everyday 7 days a week
when a exercise gets too easy i do different variations to keep the intensity higher and to recruit more muscle fibers
and i make sure to go near or to failure by every set

i also do the exercises in a circuit pattern which saves me some time and makes it more fun tbh

i also hated weight lifting, never got gains from it and only made my joints hurt, did not feel natural at all, i got hella strong tho
never efter lifting a weight again

Don't get it twisted: strength training is essential for a beginner.

The whole point of going to the gym is to level up each session by adding a rep or weight, you can lift the same 10kg dumbell for ten years and make no progress, get a solid gym schedule and learn more, it's not just going into the gym.

There is no such thing as a hard gainer; you are not eating enough, you can be lazy and not track your calories, but that is your fault.

He means that to actually make gains physique wise, you have to get strong as fuck.

Progressive overload (increasing weight or reps every workout) is fucking everything for building muscle. I'm not talking lifting stupidly heavy in the 1-3 rep range like a powerlifter. But getting stronger in the 5-12 rep range (I prefer 5-7) is what puts actual muscle tissue on your frame.

A lot of guys don't realize this, or get brainwashed into thinking they can get jacked spending two hours in the gym pumping light weights and never getting stronger. For almost everybody, that approach will fail you

I try to go as heavy as I can, and progress as soon as possible. The whole body 4 sets of 10 for everything except the neck curls (20 reps).

I seem to have piss weak ligaments or tendons. Trying to progress too fast maybe?

But yes, probably not enough food.

However, overeating just for some noob gains sounds like a cope to me.

its just natty lifting that is a cope
just start roiding or sarms and then all the time spent in the gym will be worth it

idk I no longer track my strength
I do pump work and occasionally do some low rep sets. I dont care how much I can lift since I always lift to failure or near failure

Your body requires fuel to recover from the previous workout and grow; they're not wrong when they say 90% of the gym is in the kitchen; you can run a car without gasoline, but it won't go far; it may seem like a cope to you, but there's no point in going to the gym if you're not feeding your body food to grow and build more tissue.

As for the weak ligaments or tendons, it can be due to not enough recovery , or vitamin deficiencies, get it checked up.

Is there a general approach to lifting when coming back from a pathetic strain injury? e.g. waiting x number of weeks after pain is gone then starting at x% of the weight you were lifting prior?

I already strained the groin for the 2nd time on the seated leg press after lifting a day or two after initial pain subsided.

My elbows still have pain after like 3 months from doing stupid bicep curls. They always had slight discomfort from punching damage 10+ years ago. Will the pain ever go away now?

The anti lifting copers here who think tik tok prettyboys are the pinnacle of male SMV need to step foot into a good gym at peak hours (5-7 PM).

Then they'll get a reality check when they're mogged into oblivion by guys who are lean, goodlooking, and jacked as fuck. They will never question the necessity of lifting ever again.

Imo a lean natty maxed physique is still a halo, and for some guys, it's enough for them to get the results that they want with women.

I view roids similar to being heavily tattooed. They're extreme visual/body modifications guaranteed to get you attention and sexual opportunities from women. But they're also big commitments that impact you for the rest of your life (tattoos=permanent, you will never get your bare skin back) (roids=you will most likely pin the rest of your life from what I hear)

Not saying that's bad. I'm heavily tatted, and regret zero of them because they've only benefited me substantially from an SMV point. Will absolutely hop on my first cycle soon as well. But I don't think roids and tattoos are necessary for most guys and what they want. Most guys don't even want to slay. They just want a decent looking girlfriend.
