This seriously has to be the only law like this that exists. If you are under the age of consent at 15, and then you reach the age of consent at 16 and, you now have the "legal ability to consent", but what have you actually gained?

The law is more confusing to me overall I would say. For example an 18 year old can bang the 15 year old if there is a 4 year window in terms of "Romeo and Juliet" law, but the 20 year old can't. So why exactly, did the loss of privileges occur as someone aged from 18 to 20?

at least in my country people do not care even for adults doing it, I have a PHD in age of consent, and from my experience as an 18 almost 19 year old whose dated girls from 13-15 nobody has ever given a shit, could be due to looks halo or culture but either way, I've never gotten caught or judged for it, because people don't care, however a lot of people do pretend to care online
