Knowing that one day I won't look like I did in my better days, I won't look like I do now.

I will be much more fragile physically and mentally, I will start to forget things, I will find it hard to have a fluent conversation, I will walk slower and I will find it hard to read.

Worst of all, I will feel more lonely than ever, many of my family members will have died and my social circle will be much smaller, I will not be able to relate to young people in the same way.

Knowing that these things are so ephemeral destroys me mentally.

Sabendo que um dia não serei mais como era nos meus melhores dias, não serei mais como sou agora.

Eu ficarei muito mais frágil física e mentalmente, começarei a esquecer as coisas, terei dificuldade em manter uma conversa fluente, andarei mais devagar e terei dificuldade para ler.

O pior de tudo é que me sentirei mais sozinho do que nunca, muitos dos meus familiares terão falecido e meu círculo social será muito menor; não conseguirei me relacionar com os jovens da mesma forma.

Saber que essas coisas são tão efêmeras me destrói mentalmente.
