Aging shouldn’t happen tbh

Maybe ppl will compare the body to a machine that has limited use but the body is constantly repairing itself if it wasn’t you would basically have to be careful with everything u do

Even the sun would leave permanent damage on ur skin but in a month or so all of ur exterior skin is brand new

Fact that it has a finite deadline where everything begins to go to shit is probably biological necessity

Only reason you get old is if there were too many immortal animals and ppl alive they would consume all resources since ofc death would still happen through murder and accidents but the chances would be much smaller for many who would just live on fore centuries

It’s like a patch since in theory if the cells didn’t automatically start to fuck themselves over with time one could live forever like some animals do there is a jelly fish I think that never really dies of old age
