The entertainment industry is going to transform and create a whole new level of immersion.

The most potential is with games IMO. Combine advancing VR + AR and generative AI... man the open-world games are going to be insane. The only conceivable bottlenecks will be hardware (Moore's law) and rate of adoption.

So it's not going to happen overnight. I reckon we'll start seeing the proper integration of LLMs into the NPCs of the open worlds from newly released AAA games in a few years. AR + VR is going to need a few more generations to get ultra-realistic.

It will be crazy though... like transferring urself into a whole new virtual world... black mirror-type shit.
