I have been seeing tiktok greys talking about aromatase inhibitor monotherapy and I hope none of you are broke or retarded enough to do that. Estrogen stimulates GH secretion so suppressing estrogen production thereby means you will have less growth factors, nullifying any benefit from delayed growth plate closure. This is supported by multiple studies:
- McGrath et al: Aromatase inhibitors had no effect on adult height in children with ISS
- Varimo et al: letrozole monotherapy did not increase adult height
On the other hand AI+GH had a greater effect than either AI or GH alone (Mauras et al.) This should be your minimum stack, and you should be getting your GH from actual pharmacies instead of Indiamart.
