I would say chatgpt 4 is already a proto AI, I think we might currently be nearing the mental capability of a single human, I think we are only a few years away from AI having the brain power of multiple humans.

I think the current next big thing will be AI generated video. It can already generate a picture but videos feature 1800 of them per minute. I guess it might already be a thing in 2024.

I imagine AGI will come in 5 years and singularity might happen around 2030.

I think some of the bleeding-edge AI models like GPT-4 already outshine most humans in certain aspects. I believe there was a paper published regarding it having the theory of mind, so it can emphasize with individuals and tell what they are thinking.

AI-generated video will certainly happen. All of these different dimensions, video, sound, text- they'll all just mesh together and eventually we'll have AI that can do all three.
