I doubt it, in my country more and more people work for the state in all sorts of bureaucratic jobs, companies downsize and fire people to become more efficient, but the state keeps inventing more laws, rules and bureaucratic procedures, so it can offer jobs to people who can't work in the private sector anymore.
The state still uses ancient computers, typewriters, paper documents, and other obsolete technology and methods, claiming they are needed to prevent any problems, the future I think is like in the movie Brazil - everyone will work for the state in a government job.

It's not about that, it's the thought that you are worthless and expandable, AI will matter for the world much more then you, nobody will look up to great minds anymore, AI will come to a stage that will be better then us in everything
