I doubted my decision to get bimax for very good reasons. I did plenty of more measurements and thanks to you guys I rediscovered the subnasal modified lefort 1 like Alfaro does them.

It addresses EXACTLY my concerns I had, which I also told the planner but so far I didn’t get a response …

So now I wrote a mail and gonna cal tomorrow. Surgery is in 1 month so not much time to change shit.

I will tell him I WANT subnasal lefort 1. if they don’t do it or don’t want to change it ima cancel it. If yes then ima pull through.

No ifs, no alternatives

The normal lefort doesn’t cut around the nasal base. So if you love the maxilla you will move the nose with it as well.

The subnasal lefort cuts below the ANS and thus doesn’t move the nose

That guy's improvement was amazing! :feelsmega:
Yeah. Imo a bit overprojected but very good result nonetheless. Me and him have a similar case as well. Except my nose is far worse

what downsides are there to moving the nose forward along with the maxilla
When I bring the base of my nose forward in my morphs to simulate a lefort it looks better imo
Does subnasal lefort prevent nose from becoming upturned/looking bigger or does it just prevent it from changing at all?

Every case needs different procedure. That’s why asking here isn’t smart.

Some people may benefit from a moving nose while others don’t. I would benefit from a more upturned nose as well but it would also move my nose more forward which is unacceptable.

So I have to go with a subnasal one.

If you want your nose to move and turn, you want a normal one. There is no one fits all.

Also how your teeth will be inclined after ortho and all that will decide a lot about your lips
