The outsole of AF1's looks quite bulky, though the insole actually sits a fraction below the highest point of the outsole. So they don't give quite as much height as some would believe. I measured a new pair and found they give around 3cm of height, making the wearer near 1.2 inches taller.

The doc marten gives you an actual 3.8cm without looking unnecessarily bulky. You can also had a lift to them no problem

Tbh I avoid lifts just wear height boosting shoes. I don’t want there to be a large discrepancy between me with and without shoes in. Jfl if you ever have to go somewhere with people without shoes you will literally shrink in front of them. Anything above a 2inch~ height fraud is too much imo. Unless you are a manlet and really need those inches.

I figure at 6’2” I’m still gonna heightmog any foid even after I take off my 3 inch lifted boots so it’s okay. Won’t lose respect there but I could lose respect if I get heightmogged in public due to not wearing lifts.
