My voice gets extremely deep when I get drunk. This effect only lasts until about a day after drinking and then my voice returns to normal. Many people - mostly non-smokers - have no voice change at all when drinking. I am however by no means implying that frequent drinking is a feasible solution to deepen your voice permanently. Many chronic alcoholics have permanently deep and raspy voices.
