will you quote my thread ? because it's a theory and i wouldn't want people to experiment just because they found it here :feelsokman:

No such thing, sadly. With that said, IQ is not the end-all-be-all of intelligence, whatsoever. I don't know why it gets conflated with it all the time, it's a proxy, but no more. With that said, you can become a hell of a lot better at learning or problem solving trough other means which for all practical purposes is an 'IQ upgrade'. IQ is supposed to be a means to an end, not an end in of itself.

appreciate for the clarification, i know that you cannot make your raw iq greater but you can maximize its potential and do something wonderufl with your life, i intend to use IQ for studying rather than day to day stuff

You can, for all practical purposes, increase your raw intelligence, because most people's cognitive function is throttled by two things: their physical state and their mental process.

First, the physical hardware. Most people have never experienced their brain's peak capacity because their body is in a constant state of low-grade emergency. Poor sleep, bad nutrition, and a lack of exercise (especially cardio) means your brain is constantly spending its energy putting out biological fires, handling inflammation, stress, and energy crashes. This leaves very little fuel for actual high-level thought. The goal isn't to magically jump from 100 to 150 IQ; it's to eliminate the biological interference so your mind can finally operate at its full, uninterrupted potential.

With that foundation in place, the second and even larger bottleneck for most is a flawed mental process. Take my field, physics. Most students approach it with a surface-level, rote method. They see a problem, spot keywords that point to an equation, and then just fill in the blanks. They're pattern-matchers, and the moment a problem requires synthesizing multiple concepts, they're lost.

This doesn't make them idiots; it just means their entire problem-solving framework is broken. The people truly good at physics aren't conventional "geniuses." They've just mastered a process that aligns with deep understanding: simplifying a problem to not overwhelm working memory, asking "what if" questions to build intuition, and drawing diagrams to escape the limits of abstract words.

Genius is ultimately a process, not a state. Thankfully, our brains are plastic. We can always learn, and more importantly, learn to completely change how we learn.
