This isn't true actually. Go outside and actually look at people and how often you see their face from different angles. When I did this I was surprised because I saw them from either the front or the side about 95% of the time, and almost never from a 3/4 view (side here means not a direct profile view but everything generally from the side). You might think this angle is important, but when you're talking with someone you will be looking at them from the front, and when you're looking at someone from farther away they'll often be turned away from you (side view). The only time I ever see anyone in 3/4 view is when they are looking at something from a very specific direction, so this angle is cope imo even though I look the best from this direction.
