I will make this post so everytime i get a new idea of how they could test orthotropics theory, i will post here.
It deeply annoys me that they say they cannot proof when its not true, in fact its very easy. The family is developing the theory for more than a hundred years now and developed only 4 studies (As said by John Mew).
John Mew, Facial Changes in Identical Twins Treated by Different Orthodontic Techniques. The World Journal of Orthodontics. 2007
-Where it just shows that one twin got subtle differences by orthotropics treatment, doesnt proof it was the tongue posture that did that.
John Mew, Growth Direction Following Fixed and Postural Techniques: a Prospective Consecutive Study of Matched Cases. Journal of Gnathologic Orthopedics and Facial Orthotropics. 2015; 12-16.
-He lists this one, but i couldnt find the article anywhere
John Mew, Canine impaction: how effective is early prevention? An audit of treated cases. Stoma Edu J. 2015;2(2):114-119
-Again, not specifically about tongue posture
John Mew, Visual Comparison of Excellent Orthodontic Results with Excellent Postural Results? Kieferorthopädie 2015;29(4):1–15 5. John Mew, C
-Case study... Why not make something big?
They say that universities dont want to make the study. Why they dont do a crowdfunding? They have public.
They have their cases: https://orthodontichealth.co.uk/cases/
this was not cause by tongue posture, it was simply teaching her to close the lips and mechanical exercises.
The others were manly by expansion, not tongue posture.
