I recently went down a rabbit hole of people claiming their religious scriptures predicted major future events. But it all goes on like this a big event makes the news and suddenly someone pulls out a vague, poetic or abstract verse and twists it to fit the narrative β€œHahaha Look My holy book totally predicted this Follow my religion”

It's basically interpretation in restrospect. These verses are often so open ended that you could apply them to almost anything if you're determined enough. It's less about prophecy and more about pattern matching mixed with a strong dose of confirmation bias not mych different than thr logic used by horoscopes make it vague enough, and people will find meaning that suits their current situation.

All sorts of religious scriptures, astrology are always open ended to twist the ending according to the needs of the speaker

Shame Almighty Allah couldn’t give correct inheritance laws. It’s okay, Muzzie. I know fraction arithmetic is hard.

Also, no hadith or quran can be linked to muhammad. Its like i write tom and jerry now, claim it to be from 200 yrs ago and write 9/11 was predicted in it. But truth is i already know 9/11 happened, wrote it now and claim what is written is from 200 yrs ago predicting 9/11.

So you're saying Maitreya/Jesus/Kalki/Saoshyant (basically any messiah) will never show up?
