Yes, I’ve got the germophobic kind of OCD, it influences me in every aspect of life. I dropped out of college and yeah I don’t do any looking stuff. I don’t consider any country to be inherently “clean”, I also am mindful of dust particles or other particles in the air. When I’m outside I always try to avoid those. Think one of them might have touched me without knowing so I’ll wash my head soon.

Thankfully, it’s not as bad as it used to be but it’s still bad. It was the worst in the 2010s. It was just incredibly frustrating, not just for myself but also for my friends and family because it affected them, too. It’s definitely difficult and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I’m mentally ill. Genuinely. Have you ever watched Scrubs? There’s an episode with Michael J. Fox in it. It used to be like that. I thought it was a realistic and accurate portrayal to have OCD. He had multiple ticks, the same way I do, but it mainly revolves around his cleanliness. Like me. I’ll link it if I find it.
