Topical. Apply moisturizer first then aloe don't wash it off. Shouldn't take more than 5 days to see results.

Grassfed beef tallow smells like absolutely nothing.
Beef tallow may be the best moisturizer, and I can say that confidently after using it for months on end.
Pairing it with vitamin C and E serum and Tretinoin = antioxidant heaven on the skin
