Self-proclaimed alpha males (and just guys who tend to act along those lines) are virtually always low-tier type of dudes who act "alpha" as a defensive mechanism for not being good enough as is. I've run into a bunch of those guys IRL at this point and it's always the same pattern: short, bald, ethnic, etc.
The thing is, women and society will point the finger at those guys to make the point that "men are oppressing women", etc. when in reality those dudes aren't shit and only ACT like they have the upper hand, but in actuality they can't do shit against women in today's society, get no pussy and will still end up getting divorce raped sooner or later because the legal system doesn't care how alpha you are.

And then what follows is they get cheered on by other dudes who are also at the bottom of the totem pole of society.
