Alright so what causes the botchy look in surgery ?

Usually I keep hearing people IRl say Plastic surgery is unnatural and that you will look like a doll so i want to know for future reference what causes this trend ?. I'll say all the obvious ones soft tissue misplacement,facial bloat,To much filler liquid inserted into 1 part of the face, To much natural fat reserves, lack in any forward growth to begin with.

Are there more ? or is this all there is to it ? assuming your under 8 percent body fat assuming you don't get fillers assuming you have decent soft tissues so you don't look like a gay alien before the surgery anyways assuming you have decent fat reserves and your not super down wards grown you should ideally look infintely better post surgery.

They morph your pics before the surgery they have predictions as well usually so that's why i didn't include it in here mainly cause that's a thing your looking to fix usually when your going for surgery

Interestingly the most plastic looks (think the ken and Barbie dolls, the cat lady, etc) are not from plastic surgery at all but from injectables: Too much filler and too much botox.

Other risks are:
-Bad Implant Design (too big, unrealistic contour, bad placement, edges that do not blend in.)
-Over-Aggressive facelift or facelift flap pulled in wrong vector.
-Disproportionate features (extremely wide jaw angles with very narrow face)
-Aggressive and repeated rhinoplasty (Michael Jackson)
-Rhinoplasty using silicone bridge or tip (I like silicone implants on certain places but this is one place silicone should NOT go but be reconstructed with tissue graft)
-Overdone lips whether by filer or fat
-Straight unrealistic hairline in HT
-Really, overcorrection anywhere in general.

With the Implants how can you tell if the implants are suited for your face or not ? like it's very hard to visualize what you will look like post surgery due to jaw implants being fitted onto the jaw 1 of the implants may look good for 1 person but for the other it makes them look like a potato. This is 1 of the things that worries me about implants unlike osteotamies it's very hard to predict what you will look like post surgery

Well first of all all jaw angle implants should be custom.

Second the overlying soft tissue of the jaw angle is the reason this is a treacherous area. It is the thickest anywhere else in the face. In addition to skin, fat, SMAS, and thinner muscles it has the thick superficial masseter muscles (and the smaller deep masseter muscle underneath) plus the parotid gland. So an implant under all this if you have thick soft tissue may not look defined. Low bodyfat is imperative, and masseter hypertrophy is undesirable.

Never knew how to explain how surgery should be used, but this is it, 200 iq.

Looking good is much more about the absence of bad features, not about having striking halo features (but of course they're great and can help).

Overly big implants especially for the jaw on people with a severe recession... they need to get an osteonomy to pull EVERYTHING forward not just add silicone to the face. I have a 3mm chin implant and 5mm orbital rim implant and nobody can tell I got anything done. The orbital rim implant made my undereye circles completely vanish although it didn't make my zygos bigger. However, I'm taking out the chin implant and getting a bimax with genioplasty to pull everything forward.
