Alternative to Bonesmashing: Needle Swelling

Random idea. So a lot of the results of fillers people say is the swelling, so in theory could you just buy a bunch of needles that are used to inject fillers, but not actually use any filler. Literally just poke yourself with them to get your zygos to project more.
