People will positively associate you with being a go-getter and enjoying things instead of being lazy or depressed. Which leads them to invite you to more things and more things until you have successful social life full of things to do.

That is an extremely specific example. I am more talking about someone inviting you to house parties/ to go clubbing/ camping etc

I have been invited to go watch a football/soccer game. I dont really like it but I am going because its NT and they have asked me to go due to positively associating me with exciting fun normal people things. You sacrifice your personal beliefs on the event to have opportunities to do things you really want to do like partying or going on holiday

Ha-ha, good luck with that, I was very rarely invited to such things, I went to some weddings though where I was bored to hell, didn't know almost anyone, had nothing to do, once I was even put at the kids table because I didn't have a partner...

You have to get your foot in the door. If someone suggests something fun in your presence and they are alright with you, you could say it sounds fun and you will bring drugs/alcohol etc (first thing I thought of)

You interject yourself with an option of fun on top of fun. Fulfill your end of it and you will be accepted as the "guy who brings drugs/alcohol/speakers/girls" whatever it is
