My parents are pretty short

My mom is 5’2 and my dad is 5’6

I put their height into a calculator and found out I’m not supposed to be any taller than 5’6.5 and I surpassed that height like in Middle School.

For reference, My brother is almost 17 and he’s 5’5.5

While I’m 18 and reached 6’ on a flat-foot and I have a reach of 73’

Just for some context i did grew. I believe I was 5’7 in my Freshman High School year and I believe i grew progressively about 1-2 inches a year at least that’s what think

In sophomore year this guy that was about 5’11 height mogged me, come later on and now I’m taller than him.

I was measured, and I am in fact 6’. Can any one tell me how is this possible? And can I take advantage of this to get taller?

Nah, someone in your family must be tall, like my grandfather was about 6'2 but my grandma was like 5'7 from my dad's side and my mom side her dad was 6 and her mom was 5'10. My parents are like 5'10 and 5'8. All my parents siblings were tall, mom's brothers and sisters and dad's brothers and sisters but they weren't but I'm like 6'1 and my sister is like 5'6 lmao

It's some gene thingy like yeah you still carry the tall genetics even though you are small bc your parents had it
