Yes, it's possible. The Y-DNA is a lot more accurate than the mtDNA predictor.

Use this for your Y-DNA.

https://ytree.morleydna.com/extractFromAutosomal

mtDNA is a bit trickier, but at least you will get your basal haplogroup.

If you want a more specific answer, go for LivingDNA (would have recommended 23andme instead, but they got hacked so that's not a good option anymore, IMO).

@Gengar Could you tell me ? Cause the country's ancestry.com says I'm from are so diverse that it doesn't help at all

It says usa and UK ancestry.com
I'm from Australia, does that matter? Which h would I select

Yes, I responded after I had gotten tagged. Here's the reply:

I will tell you how you can get, at the very least, your basal maternal haplogroup. I got a European one, which is definitely NOT accurate. I'm assuming due to lower markers, we get a less accurate subhaplogroup for our results since we used Ancestry data, rather than going for a company that provides both as these companies have a lot more markers, making it more accurate.

It doesn't matter, you just have to download your raw data file from Ancestry. Do you know how to do that? If not, I'll tell you.

POV: you share haplogroups with shitskins as a pure-bred white BVLL.
Opposite actually
Imagine that you are a Stone Age European man with paternal haplogroup "R1b". You go to Africa, knock up a woman there, and then you go back home to Europe.

The African woman has a son. He belongs to YOUR paternal haplogroup. Then imagine that your African son procreates with an African woman, and produce a son. That son too will belong to YOUR paternal haplogroup.

Imagine that this process is repeated, again and again, for 500 generations. All your male African descendants, stemming directly in a male line from you, will belong to YOUR haplogroup "R1b".

Yeah, that is how irrelevant haplogroups are for determining race....

Your distant descendant with haplogroup R1b:

Dont give them your dna they share it with the feds

@Gengar what does this mean? Anyone?
Your Y-DNA haplogroup is R1b-L421. Which is more specific branch of R1b.

This is what is says about R1b on Wikipedia:

"It is the most frequently occurring paternal lineage in Western Europe, as well as some parts of Russia (e.g. the Bashkirs) and across the Sahel in Central Africa, namely: Cameroon, Chad, Guinea, Mauritania, Mali, Niger, Nigeria and Senegal (concentrated in parts of Chad with concentration in the Hausa Tribe and among the Chadic-speaking ethnic groups of Cameroon).

The clade is also present at lower frequencies throughout Eastern Europe, Western Asia, Central Asia as well as parts of North Africa, South Asia and Central Asia."

Strange how widespread that haplogroup is!

You got a point, but the thing is: haplogroup branch off into specific subgroups. You may share R1b with a few shitskins, but that just means you share some distant ancestor. Your specific branch won't be found in those populations nor vice versa. :feelswhere:

I don’t understand R1b and l421 is all European / United Kingdom however my ancestry results are 40% Anatolian and the Caucasus and German

Wait, are you getting 40% Anatolian on Ancestry?! Are you not confusing it with IllustrativeDNA results?

So sorry you dont share the same DNA with whites as you wish. A european from a few thousand years ago raped a dravidian leaving you with less than .01% today

No my ancestry DNA results are 40% Anatolian. They changed with new updates. Here are the new ones.

Also I found this point. Makes sense now
  • I want to stress that your predicted classification is only very, very general. If, for instance, you receive a classification that is no more specific than R1b, you are very likely not basal R1b. Rather, you are far more likely to belong to some subclade of R1b that your testing company overlooked or did not know about.
But I cannot find anything on the subclade L421 at all. It’s like a ghost.

Do you know if skull shape is correlated with certain European ethnicities?
