I remember that we studied all these theorems in geometry, discovered by ancient Greeks, I thought it would be so cool to have a theorem with my own name, but when I asked the teacher what are the steps required to name a theorem after me, she was just like:

I can't wait to graduate man. I fucking hate tests and studying. I just wanna get a job and work on projects and not spend my freetime studying, jobs are way easier than school bc a job ends when I leave the building, whereas being a student is a lifestyle.

I hate when this happens, I came up with many revolutionary ideas not only in math but also in physics, engineering, technology, computing, etc. only to discover someone else already came up with those ideas before....
Sometimes, I even came up first with an amazing idea but had no way to actually implement it, only to see later, after several years, other people accomplishing my idea.

i was so fascinated by it, i thought if i create this game, it would be revolutionary, only to find out it already exists and the guy who made it got nobel prize for it. called Conways game of life

Ah yes, a cellular automaton - it's like a little virtual universe, with a set of simple rules but where all sorts of complex stuff can pop up and evolve on its own.

I came up with the idea of making the 3D GTA games - I played the first one in 1998, - it had a 2D top-down perspective. Around that same time I also played Carmageddon - a vehicular combat game - it had huge levels and a great degree of freedom, you could race other cars, but also smash into them, do all sorts of stunts, run over pedestrians, collect stuff, etc., I thought it would be amazing to combine the two games - do all that stuff from GTA but in a 3D environment in a huge open city.
After a few years, GTA 3D appeared and it was exactly how I envisioned it, borrowing new elements from other games including Carmaggedon, but it was my idea first!!!
