Now that I have longer hair, I've been noticing for a few weeks that when I wash + shampoo my hair I lose this much hair (+ around 20 more while showering)

Am i balding or is it normal?
It only happens when I wash and use shampoo once a week, other than that i don't see them falling.

balding is not related to losing/shedding hair strands. it is about your *hair follicles miniaturizing* over time/hair cycles.

you can barely tell if you're shedding at all when your hair is short, the longer it gets the more obvious it is.

Hairs which are short, weak, thin can be called miniaturized. The best way to tell if ur balding is to take pics, and then compare over time. Before a hair falls out, it will get miniaturized, if you see strong, thick hairs, they probably will not fall out anytime soon. You can also tell if you're losing by pulling very big clumps out during showers. (Not the regular amount like the one you got in your pics)

no, ur hairline is very good and density overall looks great. if you are paranoid just get on Fin when you turn 21, earlier you start the more hair you will keep as you age

losing up to 150 hair(s) is acceptable. What matters is that the hair follicles stay alive. Especially with long hair if you go two or three days without showering finding hair in the sink is no reason to worry at all.

Hairline looks normal. When in doubt always see a dermatologist for medical advice.
