I reconnected with a coworker I hadn’t spoken to in a while. After running into her again in person and having a good conversation, I texted her suggesting we go out to grab a drink at a specific place in a casual way.
She responded positively and said it sounded fine, but mentioned she would prefer it to be organized as a group with other people rather than just the two of us. I replied agreeing with that idea without pushing further, and i end the conversation normally without any conflict.
