Am I fried? Please help

Alright I am 15 years old and about 2 years ago I had to get my baby canines extracted. Fast forward about 4-5 months my adult canines aren’t coming down so I had to get surgery with a chain to pull my canines down once they were pulled down they started closing the gaps with power chains and tightened every few months recently I had them taken off my left gap is completely closed and my right gap is 1-2mm left and I assumed my orthodontist was going to use rubber bands to push my lower jaw forward but he didn’t instead he said as my gap in my right teeth close my top teeth will start to match my bottom or something I started kinda freaking out like in my head not outloud and now Im stressed out will my recessed chin be better after or worse I have 3-4months left with braces and there is no way I can switch what’s happening I asked ai and it said it would improve my profile and fix my chin but idk will I have a flat mid face?
