Am I getting TMJ from jutting?

I have been jutting because of overbite (not for like 24 hours a day or anything but for a lot of my day)

I haven't experienced and real pain, the reason I think I might be developing TMJ is because my jaw makes a slight popping noise when moved.

Does jutting cause TMJ 100%? Should I stop?
