Am I in the wrong?

My manager told me that I can have time after I clock in to get all my stuff put away basically settle in and I do this for 2 minutes.I clock into work and I hear someone knock on the door of the employees area and I don't answer it. The sign says employees only and this person opens the door to which I tell them you're not allowed in here it's employees only, please read the sign. My coworker gets mad at me saying that I should automatically help people right when I clock in. How the fuck am I going to put my bag and water in a locker when I'm not trying to get robbed jfl.
