The skull is always changing, you can see how it changes at old age. Sutures can be reopened with force, they are already weak points. The maxillary sutures normally complete fusion at 15-16 for males. In some cases, sutures fail to fully close. I am 16 and saw results from hard mewing + other methods. It's worth trying.
I mewed from 13 to now and noticed minimal results. Mewing also doesn't influence gonion structure or angle, so if those are fucked, its over. I guess its worth a try but one shouldn't expect much.
