Am I required to wear a retainer??

I got my braces off about 5-7 months ago. I never got handed a retainer yet my teeth still haven’t shifted is this normal? Will they shift after a year without retainer?

I’m not sure to be honest, I just noticed a tiny gap between my front 2 teeth, which was what I had before braces. I would wear them if you can

Yes, imo you should wear it full time for like 2 months and then DAILY for at least a few years at night (it's fine if you miss some nights)
They will move back.
