I understand the hype, i do, but at the same time i think GTA is overrated. The reason its so popular is because of the premise, its very mass appealing, cars, guns and crime simulator.
My problem with gta has always been that it feels like its more suited for casual gamers.
Sure it has all these different elements like cars, guns etc, however these things are not very fleshed out. Controls feel clunky, driving and shooting is extremely repetitive and not rewarding because it requires no skill. Theres just no much to do, other than the grind of making money, but then thats just another job. I could go on and on about other reasons like the company going woke but my main issue is the gameplay loop.
People think gta 6 will change their life,
and to those people id like to say,
its just a game.
