AMA - I will tell you guys everything I know about being successful financially

Somewhat. The problem with real estate today is that It’s one of the best investments you can make*if* you have a lot of capital to start off with.

It’s something every venture capitalist gets into once they’ve made their first couple of millions. The more money you have, the more money you’re going to make. The problem is, if you’re dead broke you can’t really get into it.
I know, my net worth rn is enough to get started imo
I'm moving to portugal in around september and I'm planning on deploying some funds to buy a couple b&b's there to rent out year round
Just not that knowledgeable yet on real estate so I'm still tryna learn more about it before I actually start spending

It’s more important that you talk to a Portuguese lawyer. House ownership is vastly different from country to country. It’s written in my country’s constitution for example, that an immigrant is not allowed to own deplorable property.

A mix of the two. I’m currently in law school, and I studied finance, and business economics academically prior to it.

I’ve taken a lot of interest in it, and think most people should. Knowledge is power. The more you know about something, the better you can act.

I know jack shit about finance and I don't even wanna know but I stumbled upon quite a lot of wealth through 2021 bull cycle and I'm in a hellhole rn involving taxes
I need to be able to funnel my money so that it's safe and I can deploy it into real estate or something sustainable like a business but there's no way without any fundamental knowledge or motivation

I'm trying to get in touch with lawyers and people who can help me move quietly but it's a shitshow man
I despise money and the concept of it

I realised quite early that it’s more beneficial to learn about law than finance.

Lawyers work with when problems arise legally and then they fix them.

In financial institutions they always just assume no problem arises and the money just move from x to y.

It’s also a huge leg up if you legally understand what you can and cannot do in terms of frauding the market.
