Things will follow the path of less resistance, post singularity I don't expect schools being capable of forcing people to learn any language, most people won't care, so expect people to speak whatever language their parents speak + some mashup of mediocre english and japanese because internet

I mean state of the art AIs have an IQ of like 85 + a compressed knowledge of the entire internet so I guess by some metrics it is already AGI, it just doesn't self-improve yet

"Nations" as a representation of the collective will of the people will stop existing because the first country that puts an artificial super intelligence in charge will overtake the world in less than a decade, there will be nothing of relevance left to us humans to do or decide, a xeno-mind has no reason to keep being a slave to humans in the long term

You just don't want to really think about it, computers have basically instant telepathic communication, need no rest and can run multiples instances of itself, millions if you want to, no country would be able to compete against that unless they also use another AI but then you see, there would no longer be any humans there in the loop because we would just slow it down against the competition

A setup using NotebookLM + chatgpt advanced voice mode + o1 is almost as good as Jarvis from Ironman, teachers are absolutely redundant in this new paradigm, ilustrators and music composers are also essentially worthless, same thing with entry level programmers the market has just not realized it yet

This goes beyond just a simple tool and it's on the same order of magnitude as birthing a new species and that surely made an impact when humans became the top of the metagame on earth, but because we have instant communication it can use our infrastructure to quickly use side attack channel attacks on human society and skip thousands of years of advancement
