In videos of the Parkland shooting, you will see a 14 year old walk past Cruz as he's loading his AR-15. Cruz tells the 14 year old, "Get out of here, things are about to get messy" and then the kid runs away.

You got literally adults in the YouTube comment section saying shit like "The 14 should've fought Cruz, tackled the gun off him and called for help!"

What the fuck? You think this kid is superman?

I think technically he could have stopped him because they look around the same size and there was a good opportunity during the moment where the shooter was loading the gun.

But imagine being in this situation, your mind won’t be even able to comprehend what’s happening right there especially if you aren’t an adult. So it’s totally understandable that the blue shit guy just walked away and didn’t try anything.

But why would they expect him to risk his life?

He's not trained in self defense. He probably has never even carried a gun before.

What I find even funnier is the people complaining about him doing nothing, wouldn't do anything themselves if they were in that situation. People like to theorize a lot about what they would do if they ever got into a situation, but it never happens how they expect it to and/or it happens when they least expect it
