If you ever get to work even 10 years for American defense companies, you are not only doing work relevant to your education, you are also most probably living in a LCOL area and saving shit tons of money. Unlike most countries, you also get a shit ton of money as a contractor compared to contractors in Europe or Asia with the exception of China. You get to see the parts of America that isnt shown in media. But the most mogger thing is that if you are in core engineering, it ascends your resume so much that very few companies can match it.
