2/3 days ago I was at the G.E trolling, what I was really doing, like most trolls was venting. For the first time in over a year, these two asked if I was okay, with sincerity. I then flooded to them. In front of everyone too, I guess it's anonymous so what's the issue. Nobody at the G.E mocked me, some chimed in with supportive words, so I guess I owe some gratitude for the community in general.
For the last 8 months I've been in an abusive relationship. I had dated a woman for 2 weeks before she moved in with me. her only family in the country who'd had her in for a matter of months kicked her out, as what I thought was a nice person, I decided to help her. She could stay til she finds her feet.
In the end she'd never leave, she'd control my life. I had to change my job to factory work so I was only working with men, I had to leave my phone at home for her to look through while I was working. I wasn't allowed to eat dinner so I wouldn't get fat, breakfast and lunch only. I had to give £100 a week for her drug habits of which there were plenty. She threw out anything that my ex girlfriends had been in/used, including my bed that cost me £700. I barely had any clothes left. She threw out items I'd collected from my late father who passed 5 years ago to teach me a lesson. I am covered in cigarette burns, this list goes on. I don't know how I let it happen, I never saw myself as someone who could let it happen, but it did. I have nobody else to talk to, she made sure of it.
After flooding this out, mostly to the two players in the title, they didn't stop supporting me and giving me advice. It went on for a long time, before I was a nobody to them, I could've just been wasting their time, but they helped just in case.
This morning I decided to video my, now exgirlfriend, as she threw a salt lamp at me, if you're not aware they're quite heavy. It split my bicep open. Later on she went in the shower so I sprinted to my neighbor to call the police, as she had my phone in the shower with her. When the police came I told them to look. She'd tried to delete it but forgot about the "trash" folder, and the rest is history. She's been arrested, she's not allowed back. I'm freed. I would've never stood up for myself if it wasn't for these two.
Thank you to the rest of the RuneScape community that were present and doing their best, but mostly to Chello and Grizz for potentially saving my life.
