This. Germany, Austria, Switzerland ( DACH - Region) is the literal Heart of Europe.

It has the most population by far, is right in the geographic center and not in the peripherie like the Balkans or Baltics, a national language written in Latin close enough to the global language English, has the strongest economy with most companies and jobs.

If Germany falls, entire Europe falls.
