COPE

only country on earth with decent pay
Decent pay but you cannot afford to not have a job because you gotta have insurance. Doesn't matter how much money you have, you can't even rent an apartment without proof of employment in America. And decent pay don't mean dick if everything is expensive as hell. Raises are eaten up by a tradition of increasing the rent every year. I can still save WAY more money living in a developing country on a fourth of an American salary than I can in America.

also, are you trying to allude that australia has more influence in america? :feelswhat:
Regardless Australia is run by idiots unfortunately and will probably be inevitably americanised culturally due to social media

Europe is exactly the same but with lower salaries so you can save less in absolute terms. It’s still better to save 25% of an American salary than 50% of a European one when geomaxxing is the ultimate goal.

I would actually be paid almost the same as engineer in a developing country than I am in the UK, the ratio between minimum wage and engineer wage in these countries is 10x+ instead of fucking 1.5x like in the UK.

But my costs in the UK are zero anyway because I live with my parents. Even investing 100% of my pay though i can’t compete with American earning/saving power so idk, just seems over no matter what I do.

What American saving power? It doesn't exist. Three times your income is probably gonna go to fucking rent. Then you're gonna have to have a vehicle and with that comes fucking insurance and gas.

All I know is this. In USA I can save money but to be able to save the same amount of money I can in the DEVELOPING WORLD, not Europe, I have to work 60-90 hours a week. On top of that I can just quit my job in the developing world at any time and take a break for a year without having to worry. And if during that time a medical emergency happens, like needing to have my appendix removed or whatever, I can just pay for it and not worry. Can't do it in the "land of the free" though because if you're not constantly running on that wheel for EMPLOYMENT PROVIDER and something like that happens you could be in debt for the next 5-12 years. Also in the US if I just want to take a break for a while in between jobs I better get another daddy employer if I decide I want to move to another apartment. I could put enough cash on someone's desk in a rental office to cover two years rent plus deposit but NOPE, in our great fucking "LAND OF THE FREE" if you don't currently have a boss daddy at the time of application you're not getting an apartment at any decent place.

It isn't even a choice for me. I CANNOT live here. I love it infinitely freedom too much. I love it infinitely more than convience, comfort, and even safety. I love it more than pleasure because without it there is no pleasure. It is my pleasure. I might work for someone 7 days a week till I'm 85 years old and never take a day off, which is something I could live with. But knowing that I now can't just not have an employer until I'm about 65 makes me not want to work at all. If I were forced to live here, and didn't have a family, I would either become a career homeless person tramping around the country riding freight or I'd start robbing. I wouldn't work a fucking day in a system that tells me I can't take it easy with a little money saved up.

All these proud patriotic "freedom loving" Boomer and Generation X mother fuckers dropped the ball. I hate them with every fibre of my being. I can't tell you how much I loathe those stupid stupid stupid comfort loving bastardly ignorant retard mother fuckers. I hope they get taken for EVERYTHING they're worth by Nigerian scammers and are forced to marvel at their own naked stupidity.

Another thing is splendor. The third/developing world might offer less creature comforts, and for what it loses in convenience it more than makes up for in practicality, but there's ironically much more splendor in the third world. Sure there's more raweness, like people shitting and dying in the streets, but the lack of so much synthetic junk makes it so more breathable. Actually, now that I'm really thinking about it, it's not that the developing world has more splendor. It's just that in the developing world the death of the splendor that existed before the times of industrialization is less evident. If you're an immigrant you know exactly what I'm talking about.
